CAUTION

3. Instructions for use

3.1 Before first use

Before using the product for the first time, clean it thoroughly (see also Chapter 5):
1. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth.
2. Boil water (see chapter 3.2).
3. Rinse away the boiled water without drinking it.
4. Rinse the inside with fresh water.
5. The product is now ready for use.

3.2 Heating water

1. Plug the base into a grounded outlet.
2. Remove the product from the base.
3. Pull up the lid to open it.
4. Fill the product with drinking water between the MIN line and the MAX line.
5. Close the lid tightly and put the product back on the base.
6. Press the on/off button to boil the water.
7. The product automatically turns off when the water is boiled. You can also interrupt the
heating of the water at any time by pressing the on/off button.
8. You can now carefully pour the water into a container suitable for hot liquids.
9. Unplug the product after use. Do not leave water in the product to prevent scaling.
ATTENTION!
◊ Burn hazard from hot steam and hot water. Be very careful when moving the product so
that hot water does not splash out. Always hold the product by the handle.
◊ Always close the lid before turning on the product. If the lid is open, the product will not
work properly and there is a risk of injury.
