Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if
damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.
5. There may still be dust or production residues on the
appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance
as described under "Cleaning".

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
CAUTION:
• The appliance is not suitable for preparing rice pud-
ding. The milk could boil over or burn.
• Only ever pour water into the rice pot, never into the
housing.
• Only use the inner pot (rice pot) as an insert for this
appliance. It is not suitable for other hobs!
• Watch out for escaping steam during operation and
when opening the lid. There is a risk of burns!
Notes for Use
Measuring Cup
• The measuring cup (CUP) is used with the water scale
(CUP) in the rice pot to determine the amount of rice
and water.
• If you want to cook 6 CUPs, for example, put 6 meas-
uring cups full of rice in the rice pot and then fill it with
water according to the (CUP) mark, e. g. 6.
Amount of Rice
• The minimum quantity of rice to be cooked is 260 g
(2 CUPs), which, depending on the type of rice, results
in approx. 700 g of rice with a cooking time of approx.
25 minutes.
• You can cook a maximum of 1.3 kg of rice (raw weight)
with this appliance. You will need 2.7 litres of water for
this. Depending on the type of rice, you will get approx.
3 kg of cooked rice with a cooking time of approx.
40 minutes.
• You will find the exact proportions on the packaging of
your type of rice.
• Thumb rule: Add 2 parts water to 1 part rice.
