Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the humidifier for the
first time. The device is not intended for commercial use.

Before commissioning, please make sure that the voltage specification corresponds
to the local mains voltage.
This appliance may only be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and mainte-
nance work must not be carried out by children who are not supervised. Children
must not play with the device.
Do not fill hot water into the device. Use only cold water (tap water, distilled water,
mineral water or other drinking water).
Do not drink the water used in the water basin and do not use it for animals or
plants. Empty the water basin into a drain.
The power supply must be connected in such a way that there is no danger if the
humidifier tips over or liquid is spilled.
Do not operate the device if the power supply unit or the power cord is defective.
Do not spray flammable substances, such as pesticides or fragrances, near the hu-
midifier.
Make sure that the air inlet and the air outlet are not covered/blocked.
If the power outlet used to operate the humidifier is not properly connected and/or
the power supply is not firmly and securely plugged into the outlet, the unit's power
supply will become hot. Make sure that you are using a properly connected power
outlet for the humidifier and that the power supply is plugged into it firmly and se-
curely.
Do not place any objects on the humidifier and do not sit on it.
Only use evaporative elements that are specifically suitable for this humidifier.
Do not use the humidifier after using incense to protect against insects or in places
where oil residues or chemical vapors are present or where incense sticks are
burned.
Do not use the humidifier near heaters, fireplaces or gas-powered appliances.
Do not fill water through the air outlets on the top of the humidifier.
Bacteria and mold may form on the evaporative element if the humidifier is not used
for a long time. Check the evaporative element before using the humidifier again.
The evaporative element should be replaced if it shows stains.
