display and after a few seconds the display will show
the radio station name.
4.
Rotate the Tuning knob to fine-tune the frequency with
steps of 0.05MHz if needed.
5.
Repeat the steps 3 and 4 to tune into other radio
stations.
6.
Adjust the Volume to the required setting.
Note:
If you find that FM reception is poor, try repositioning the
antenna.
The FM radio menu
You can open the FM radio menu by
the Info / Menu button

Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and

The FM radio menu offers the following options:
● [Audio Setting]: If the FM radio station being listened

to has a weak signal some hiss may be audible. It is
possible to reduce this hiss by forcing the radio to play
the station in mono rather than stereo. Select this option

and subsequently select [Forced Mono] to reduce the
hiss from a weak FM signal or select [Stereo Allowed]
to return to stereo mode.
● [FM Scan Zone]: Select this option to configure if the
radio should only look for strong signals ("Local") or
all signals ("Distant") when using the automatic tuning
feature.
● [System Settings]: Select this option to go to the
System settings menu and configure the radio (refer
to the chapter "Using the System settings menu" for
details).
Showing FM information on the display
When listening to an FM radio station that is also
broadcasting RDS data (the RDS icon is shown in the
bottom bar of the radio's display), repeatedly press
the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following
information on the radio's display:
Radio Text, Program Type,
Date.
If the stereo speaker icon is shown at the bottom of the
radio's display, this indicates that the radio is receiving a
stereo broadcast.
Presetting stations in DAB and FM modes
There are 40 memory presets each for DAB and FM
radio.
They are used in the same way for each operating mode.
1.
Turn on the radio, then select the DAB or FM radio
mode and tune to the required radio station as
previously described.
2.
Press and hold the Preset button until "Preset Store" is

3.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired preset
number (01-40), then press the Tuning knob to store
the current frequency under the chosen preset number.
4.
Repeat this procedure as needed for the remaining
presets. Preset stations cannot be deleted, but they can
be overwritten by storing a new station on an already
used preset.
Recalling a preset in DAB and FM modes
1.
Turn on the radio and then select the DAB or FM radio
mode using the Source button.
2.
Press the Preset button and "Preset Recall" will appear
on the display.
3.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired preset
number, then press the Tuning knob to tune into the
selected preset number.
4.
Alternatively, press the Preset + or Preset - button to go
to the next or previous available preset.
Using the System settings menu
The System settings menu can be used to configure your
radio. Follow these steps to access the System settings
menu:
1.
Turn on the radio using the Power button.
2.
Press and hold the Info / Menu button to open the menu
for the current mode.
3.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select [System Settings]
and press the Tuning knob to open the menu.
The System settings menu offers the following options:

then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.
Press the Info / Menu button to go back one step in the
radio's menus.
The radio's default and recommended settings are
indicated using an asterisk.
● [Time setup]: Select this option to set the time and
date manually, to set the source for automatically
updating the time and date, or to set the time format.
● [Sleep]: The sleep timer allows you to automatically
turn off the radio after a preset time has elapsed.
Select this option and press the Tuning knob. Then
Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired sleep
time. The sleep timer can be set from 15 to 120
minutes or select "Sleep off" to cancel the sleep timer.
Press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.
An active sleep timer is shown using a sleep timer
icon at the bottom of the playing display. This icon
also shows the remaining sleep time before the radio
automatically switches off.
To cancel the sleep time before the preset time has
elapsed and to turn off the radio, press the Power
button to turn the radio off manually.
