Free collection points for old electri-
cal appliances are available for you
to return them. You can obtain the
addresses from your city or munici-
pal administration. Batteries and ac-
cumulators that are not enclosed in
the old appliance, as well as lamps
that can be removed from the old
appliance without being destroyed,
must be removed from the old ap-
pliances before disposal. As a con-
sumer, you are generally obliged to
hand in used batteries and accumu-
lators as well as lamps separately at
the special collection points. Make
sure that the batteries and accumu-
lators are completely empty. Then
carefully remove the batteries and
accumulators from the old applian-
ce.
