The device is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the appliance if
it inadvertently falls over. When the device is returned to its upright position, it will
resume functioning as normal but, before reusing, switch off, unplug and check for
damage. Do not use the device if it is damaged or malfunctioning, but have it
inspected/repaired!
Operation
Check for every use:
- or the appliance doesn't show signs of damage.
- Check whether the equipment is on a flat, level and vibration free surface
- or there are no objects, canvas, sun screens etc. are inside the safety distances.
- or the socket you want to use gives the correct tension (220-240V-50Hz). Check
whether the socket is earthed and secured with a 30mA circuit breaker.
If everything is all right you can insert the plug into the
socket.
Now you can switch on the machine by turning the
operating button to I (450W, half power) or II (900W, full
power). To turn the machine off, you turn the button to
0 and remove the plug from the socket. Allow the
radiator time to cool.
During the first minutes of operation the device can emit a little smoke or odor. This is
normal and disappears after a few minutes. Doesn't it disappear, consult your dealer.
