• The Drum Auger can be used with or without a drill.
• When using a drill, observe the following:
- Check that the drill is set to run clockwise at low speed. The drill speed must not
exceed 350 rpm.
- Drills with safety clutch automatically disengage if the cleaning machine is overload-
ed (e.g. if the spiral is stuck in the pipe)
• Clean dirt from the handle and the machine body before use.
• Check whether the flexible shaft is worn or damaged. The shaft must be replaced if it
is worn, corroded or bent.
• Some chemicals have specific health and handling requirements which should be
stated by the manufacturer. Ensure that the hand-operated pipe cleaning machine is
suitable for the job.
• Wear appropriate protective equipment, including safety goggles and rubber gloves.
Drains can contain dangerous chemicals or bacteria.
• Do not use the Drum Auger if it is damaged or parts are missing. Contact the manu-
facturer via the specified service centre.
