FUNCTION
The service water stored in the enamelled internal boiler is heated by the electric heating unit. The desired
temperature can be selected by the user on the regulating toggle. The heating is switched on automati-
cally by the temperature control and off again when the desired tank water temperature is reached during
the heating period determined by the relevant power supply company. If the water temperature drops,
e.g. by the withdrawal of water or natural cooling (reduced as far as possible by the high-quality CFC-free
PU foam insulation), the device heating switches on again until the selected tank water temperature is
reached.
HOT WATER DEMAND
The hot water demand in a household depends on the number of persons, the sanitary installations of the
apartment or the house, the insulation, the pipelines and the individual habits of the user.
The following table provides a few standard values regarding consumption figures.
Full bath
Shower
Washing hands
Hair wash (short hair)
Hair wash (long hair)
Use of bidet
Washing dishes
for 2 persons per day
for 3 persons per day
for 4 persons per day
House cleaning per bucket of
cleaning water
The temperature of the cold water required for mixing to the specified hot water temperature was estima-
ted at approx. 12 °C.
ENERGY SAVING
As a result of the high-quality and environmentally friendly CFC-free PU foam insulation as well as the
installed temperature control, our electric storage tanks are real energy savers.
Low tank water temperatures prove to be particularly economical. Therefore, the progressively adjustable
temperature should only be selected as high as necessary for the actual hot water demand. This helps to
save energy and reduces furring in the container.
