Caution!
Never leave the fondue pot unattended or in the proximity of children when it contains hot liquid. Help
children to prepare and cook their pieces of food.
- Once the ingredients are done, carefully remove the fork from the pot. Allow excess oil to drip off the pieces
of food.
- Enjoy the cooked food with your favourite sauces and dips.
Refill the paste burner
- Use the lid to extinguish the flame and let the paste burner cool down.
- Remove the paste burner from the warmer and open it (screw closure).
- Refill the empty aluminium cup with fuel paste (max. 2/3). Alternatively, place a new aluminium cup with fuel
paste into the lower section and tear open the cover.
- Close the burner (screw closure).
- Tip: For a better burning behavior and especially after long periods of non-use, remove any remaining old
fuel paste from the aluminium cup and dispose of it before refilling the burner.
Cleaning
- Extinguish the burner by closing the holes and placing the lid on the burner.
- Before cleaning, assure that the burner has extinguished completely and allow all parts to cool down. In particular,
the fondue pot, the warmer and the splashguard should not be exposed to temperature shocks.
- Do not pour cooled oil/grease into the drain. We recommend disposing of it in the regular household waste
instead.
- We recommend cleaning the paste burner after each use with water and a mild detergent or a commercially
available cleaning agent for stainless steel products. Residues of dirt may impair the adjustability of the burner.
- Clean all parts using warm water and a mild detergent. The fondue pot, the splashguard and the warmer can
be cleaned with a common household sponge in case of stubborn stains. Do not use any aggressive or
abrasive cleaning agents. Dry the parts off completely when finished.
- To remove adhered residue, add hot water to the base and let it soak in to soften the residue. With stubborn
residue, you can cook 1 tablespoon of salt with some water. Then the fondue pot can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For easier cleaning the fondue pot, the splashguard and the warmer can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Nevertheless, we recommend cleaning by hand.
- Slightly rub occasionally the rim of the fondue pot, the splashguard and the warmer with cooking oil to prevent
from rusting.
- Make sure that all parts are completely dry before using them again or storing them.
