use it for commercial purposes or outdoors. Do not use it for purposes
for which it is not designed.
16. Before plugging in the appliance, make sure that the appliance
nominal input voltage (found on the rating plate) matches the mains
voltage.
17. Only connect the appliance to properly grounded mains outlets. Do
not use extension cords or splitters.
18. Do not touch the appliance or the power supply with wet hands.
19. Do not use the appliance in bathrooms, laundry rooms, or other humid
spaces. Do not expose the appliance to dripping or splashing water.
20. Do not use the appliance in dusty environments, or where explosives or
flammables such as gasoline, paints, aerosols, etc. are used or stored, in
spaces filled with volatile fumes, or in industrial environments.
21. Do not place the appliance near an open flame.
22. Do not place the appliance on tilted or unstable surfaces such as high-
pile carpets, sofas, etc. Install the appliance on a horizontal, dry, clean,
smooth and stable surface.
23. Do not insert anything into the openings of the device. This could result
in an electrical short, fire or damage to the appliance.
24. Provide adequate clearance around the appliance during operation.
Ensure at least 1 m clearance in front, and at least 0.5 m on the sides.
25. We do not recommend using the appliance in rooms of less than 6 m².
26. Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer, remote control
system or any other component that switches the appliance on
automatically. There is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or
incorrectly positioned.
27. Be very careful when using the appliance near animals.
28. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation. Do not
leave the appliance running when tired or at night.
29. Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.
30. To power off, press the on / off button, then set the main switch to
position I (off). Then unplug the power cord from the mains.
31. Always power down and unplug the appliance when leaving it
unattended, during prolonged disuse, and before relocation, cleaning,
or maintenance. Do not move the appliance during operation. Allow
the appliance to cool down before moving, cleaning or maintenance.
32. Keep the appliance clean. To clean the appliance, follow the
instructions provided in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section below.
Do not perform any maintenance on the appliance other than the
cleaning specified in this manual.
33. To avoid electrocution, do not immerse the appliance or its power cord
in water or any other liquid.
34. Route the power cord away from hot surfaces and sharp objects, and
out of the way of people. Do not route the power cord under carpets or
other floor coverings.
35. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, not the cord. Pulling on
the cord risks damaging the cord or the socket.
36. Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly, if it has fallen on
