CLEANING AND CARE
Skandika
Sweep out the
Rian hammock tent with a hand brush when it is set up and then clean it carefully inside and out
with a damp, soft sponge or cloth. You can use a suitable, commercially available tent cleaner for this, but avoid using highly
abrasive or corrosive cleaners. Clean the pegs and carabiners with clear water. Allow all parts to dry completely and then
dismantle the Rian hammock tent.
STORAGE
All parts must be completely dry before storage. Fold up the Rian hammock tent so that it fits into the pack sack and store it in
a dry, well-ventilated place.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
We grant you the statutory warranty period of 24 months. Before returning the Rian hammock tent, please contact us by telephone, e-mail
or fax. This will enable us to help you with any faults in use. To make a claim under the guarantee, please send us an e-mail to the address
below:

1.
In accordance with the following conditions (points 2-5), we will repair free of charge any damage or defects to the item that are demon-
strably due to a manufacturing defect if they are reported to us immediately after discovery and within 24 months of delivery to the end
customer. The guarantee does not cover easily breakable parts such as glass or plastic. A warranty obligation is not triggered: by minor
deviations from the target condition that are insignificant for the value and usability of the article; by damage from chemical and electro-
chemical effects; by penetration of water and generally by damage caused by force majeure.
2.
The guarantee is provided in such a way that defective parts are repaired free of charge or replaced by faultless parts at our discretion.
The costs for material and labour shall be borne by us. Repairs at the place of installation cannot be demanded. The proof of purchase
with the date of purchase and/or delivery must be presented. Replaced parts become our property.
3.
The warranty claim shall lapse if repairs or interventions are carried out by persons who are not authorised by us to do so or if our ap-
pliances are fitted with supplementary or accessory parts that are not matched to our articles. Furthermore, if the item is damaged or
destroyed by force majeure or environmental influences, in the event of damage caused by improper handling - in particular non-com-
pliance with the operating instructions - or maintenance, or if the item shows mechanical damage of any kind. After consultation by
telephone, the customer service department can authorise you to repair or replace parts that are sent to you. In this case, the warranty
claim is of course not cancelled.
4.
Warranty services do not extend the warranty period, nor do they start a new warranty period.
5.
Further or other claims, in particular for compensation for damage incurred outside the item, are excluded unless liability is mandatory
by law.
6.
Our warranty conditions, which contain the requirements and scope of our terms and conditions, do not affect the seller's contractual
warranty obligations.
7.
Wearing parts are not subject to the warranty conditions.
8.
The warranty claim shall lapse in the event of improper use.
DISPOSAL
Tents and accessories contain various materials. The tarpaulins themselves are very robust, and metals are also used to ensure that the tent
can be erected and can withstand wind and rain. Disposal in household waste is therefore not recommended. Tents should be disposed of via
the local bulky waste or a recycling centre. For more information on disposal options in your area, please contact your local authority.
