Data and limitations
DORY can be used by 10 people / smartphones, additional users can be purchased from the app.
App
The "1Control" app is free and can be downloaded from the iPhone and Android stores.
It is compatible with the following systems:
- iPhone 4S or higher smartphone with iOS 12 or higher
- Android smartphone with 5.1 system or higher and Bluetooth LE 4
The "1Control" app can manage and control multiple 1Control devices at the same time.
First installation
1. Download the "1Control" app from the store of your smartphone
2. Mount DORY on the door following the instructions on the website or app
3. Connect with the app to DORY and set a secret PIN code
Mounting on the door
Assembling DORY on your door is a simple operation, however it requires a minimum of manual skills. On
the app and on the 1control.eu website, you can find specific assembly guides and wizards for different door
models.
Shares
DORY administrators can share door access to other users through the app.
All users wishing to receive a share must register through the app by entering their phone number. NB: it is not
possible to use the same phone number to register from different smartphones.
The administrator can share access to a user by indicating their phone number. It is possible to set time
constraints (start and end date, days of the week, hours of the day) on the shares.
To share access it is not necessary to be near DORY, this operation can also be performed remotely.
Factory reset
You can completely delete all data stored on DORY by restoring to factory conditions. To reset, press and hold
the hidden button on the back of the internal electronic knob for more than 20 seconds. Resetting your device
can take up to 2 minutes.
Resetting the device causes the loss of all stored data and invalidates all created shares.
Pressing the key for between 10 and 20 seconds deletes the first user saved in the memory. This operation is
useful in case of reaching the maximum number of users.
