Brief
Introduction
The DIGITUS@Gigabit fiber switch provides 8 fiber SFP ports and 2 RJ45
uplink ports with Gigabit bandwidth.
Low cost of ownership, ease of use
and high performance
are the strengths of this fiber switch. The switch is
designed for FTTX applications, such as FTTN, FTTC, FTTB, FTTD or FTTH,
where the main areas of application are fiber optic LAN, industrial Ethernet,
distributed control systems and digital video surveillance. The switch can be
used in campus networks,
in remote
LAN extensions,
distributions,
as well as in the ISP backbone
area. The optical
be exchanged during operation
(hot swappable). This cost-effective switch
offers a network layout that simplifies the installation

networks. It can be mounted as a 19" rack in server racks (IU) or as a
desktop switch. It provides the ideal networking
and intelligent LAN fiber access.
