Die Heizungsfolie ist generell geeignet für das nachträgliche Einbringen
von Löchern. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass maximal zwei Löcher mit ei-
ner maximalen Größe von 70 mm nicht überschreiten und einen Mindest-
abstand von 20 mm zueinander und zu den Kupferleitern haben (siehe 3.1).
Eine optimale und schnelle Wärmeverteilung erreicht man mit sehr dün-
nen Belägen (Tapete, Putzsysteme, keramische Beläge). Alle weiteren Be-
läge müssen für eine Fussbodenheizung geeignet sein.#
2.3
Bedienung
Die hicoTHERM®-Sets bestechen durch die einfache Handhabung bei Be-
dienung und Installation.
Speziell für hicoTHERM® 110/220:
Zum Einstellen der gewünschten Raum-Wohlfühltemperatur einfach
den Regler auf den gewünschten Leistungsbereich einstellen. Die wei-
tere Regelung erfolgt dann automatisch.
Die am Regler vorgenommenen Einstellungen sind keine Temperatur-,
sondern Leistungsangaben.
Die tatsächliche Oberflächentemperatur der Heizfolie ist abhängig vom
Wand- oder Bodenbelag und der Wärmedämmung im Wand- und Boden-
aufbau. Sie kann von der gefühlten Raumtemperatur abweichen.
Speziell für hicoTHERM® 60:
Nach der Mauertrocknung kann durch einen Ein/Aus-Schalter das
Sanierungsset bei Bedarf zu- und abgeschaltet werden.
Für einen besonders energiesparenden Betrieb bietet sich die Verwen-
dung einer Zeitschaltuhr an.

eines Reglers mit integrierter Zeitschaltuhr (Komfortregler) an. Damit las-
sen sich zusätzlich Heizzeiten und Überwachungstemperaturen bequem
einstellen. Es wird empfohlen, ca. 30 Minuten vor Raumnutzung mit dem
Heizen zu beginnen.
2.4
Wartung
Das hicoTHERM® 60 Temperierungs- und Sanierungsset / hicoTHERM®
110/220 Heizungsset ist wartungsfrei.
Bei einem Störfall können folgende Schritte Abhilfe schaffen:

Verifizieren Sie bitte die Einstellungen einer ggf. eingesetzten Zeit-
schaltuhr.
•
Überprüfen Sie die Stellung des wahlweise installierten Ein-/Aus-
Schalters.
•
Überprüfen Sie die hausinterne Sicherung oder den FI-Schutzschalter.
Speziell für hicoTHERM® 110/220:
•
Überprüfen Sie bitte die Leistungseinstellungen am Regler, im Falle
des Typs mit Zeitschaltuhr, zusätzlich das eingestellte Zeitprogramm
•
Überprüfen Sie die hausinterne Sicherung oder den FI-Schutzschalter.
Bei unveränderter Störung benachrichtigen Sie einen zugelassenen Elek-
trofachmann. Generell wird empfohlen, das System nach fünf Jahren von
einem zugelassenen Elektrofachmann überprüfen zu lassen.

Optimum and rapid heat distribution is achieved with very thin coverings
(wallpaper, plaster systems, ceramic coverings). All other coverings must
be suitable for use with underfloor heating.
2.3
Operation
Simple handling in both operation and installation is one of the
outstanding features of the hicoTHERM® kits.
Special instructions for hicoTHERM® 110/220:
Just set the controller to the required output range to adjust the room
temperature to the level you feel happy with. After this, regulation is
carried out automatically.
The settings chosen on the controller are output rather than
temperature levels.
The actual surface temperature of the heating film depends on the wall
or floor covering and the heat insulation in the wall and floor structure. It
may differ from the perceived room temperature.
Special instructions for hicoTHERM® 60:
After the wall has dried out, the renovation kit can be switched on and
off as required via an on/off switch.
If operation under particularly energy-economic conditions is required,
installation of a timer is an effective option.
Use of a controller with an integrated timer (comfort contoller) can be
recommended when operation under particularly energy-economic
conditions is required. Heating times and monitoring temperatures can
also be set conveniently with such a timer. It is recommended that the
heater is started up about 30 minutes before the room is used.
2.4
Maintenance
The hicoTHERM® 60 temperature regulation and renovation kit /
hicoTHERM® 110/220 heating kit requires no maintenance.
If problems occur, the following activities may be helpful:

Please verify the settings of the timer, if one is being used.
•
Check the setting of the on/off switch, if one has been installed.
•
Check the relevant fuse or circuit breaker in the building.
Special instructions for hicoTHERM® 110/220:
•
Please check the output setting on the controller and – if a timer is
installed – the time program setting too.
•
Check the relevant fuse or circuit breaker in the building.
If the fault is not eliminated, inform a licensed electrician. It is in
general recommended that the system is checked by a licensed
electrician every five years.
