8.2. OTHER PRECAUTIONS

sponds to vibration therapy. If you experience any discom-
fort, dizziness or nausea, stop the session immediately.
NOTE: Do not use the device if any of the contraindications
described in chapter 6 apply to you.
NOTE: Do not use the device for more than 20 minutes per
application. Leave it to cool down for at least 15 minutes be-
fore restarting.

NOVAFON device and keep it on during treatment.
NOTE: If you perform multiple treatment sessions in quick
succession with a maximum duration of 20 minutes and only
use a single attachment, the temperature of the attachment

alternate attachments within the session. Stop the treat-

may cause damage.

9. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

9.1. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

Do not clean the device during charging. Disconnect the
device from the power supply when cleaning. If used pri-
vately, clean the housing and attachments using a clean
cloth moistened with fresh water or a mild soapy solu-
tion. For clinical and professional use, clean and disinfect
device housings and all attachments with an appropria-
te surface disinfectant suitable for medical devices before
and after each use. As a general rule, only use alcohol-free
disinfectants that are suitable for use on sensitive surfa-
ces, such as NOVACLEANER by NOVAFON, SinAlc sensi-
tive by HIMED or RHEOSEPT-WD plus wipes by Rheosol.
If necessary, dry off with a soft cloth.
If you are using the charging stand, this can be cleaned with
a clean cloth moistened with fresh water or a mild soapy
solution if necessary. For professional use: To prevent con-
tamination, only place cleaned devices in the charging stand.
Ensure that devices are completely dry and with no cleaning
agent, disinfectant or oil / cream residues before using the
charging stand or charging cable.

9.2. TROUBLESHOOTING

If your device automatically switches to a lower setting, or
you are unable to increase the intensity, this is probably due
to a low battery level. In this case, you should charge your
