Sterilization Procedures
Remove the bur and any attachments from the handpiece. Manually clean and
remove all visible soil, such as saliva from the handpiece prior to sterilization.
Insert the handpiece into a sterilization pouch. Place into a steam autoclave.
Sterilize at 135°C (275°F) per autoclave manufacturer's parameters. Do not
let the handpiece remain in pouch under wet or damp conditions. Such
conditions can result in corrosion of internal parts and shorten the life of the
handpiece. Do not use cold sterilization solutions containing acids or chlorine.
Do not immerse the handpiece in water or disinfection solutions. Do not place
the handpiece in an ultrasonic bath.
Lubricate Before Use
After sterilization and cool down time, insert bur and tighten with bur tool.
Lubricate one more time with 1 or 2 drops of Champ-Lube 20+ and briefly
operate to expel excess lubricant.
Warranty: This part is warrantied to the original purchaser against defective
workmanship and materials under normal installation, use and service for six
months. For warranty repair, send the product with copy of the original invoice
to your dealer.
