Read these instructions before proceeding to replace the turbine.
Before replacing the turbine, carefully examine handpiece head for dents. If
there are any dents in the head, return the entire handpiece to your dealer for
repairs. Do not install replacement turbine into a dented handpiece. Installation
will permanently damage turbine.
1. Remove cap by turning counterclockwise, using the cap wrench.
2. Remove worn turbine by pressing the blunt end of an inserted shipping post
or bur against a hard surface to expel turbine.
3. Remove all foreign material and debris from interior of handpiece head.
Lubricate interior of head with Champ-Lube
4. Insert new turbine cartridge into handpiece head. When replacing with
canister style cartridge, the index ball on the canister must be lined up with
concave groove inside handpiece head to ensure proper fit.
5. Replace cap using fingers to prevent cross threading. Once seated, tighten
cap with cap wrench.
6. Install bur securely into handpiece and operate per handpiece instructions.
Do not operate without a bur!
