SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and/or injury
to persons:
1.
Read all instructions.
2.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or dials provided.
3.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cable or plug in water or other liquids.
4.
Close supervision is necessary when the toaster is used by or near children.
5.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Unplug from the socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking off parts.

Do not operate the toaster with a damaged cable or plug, or after the toaster has malfunctioned
or been damaged in any way. Contact Chefman
or replacement.

Do not let cable hang over edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
11.
To disconnect, turn any control to "Off" and then remove the plug from the socket.
12. Do not use the toaster for anything other than its intended use.
13. Oversized foods, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted into the toaster as they may
involve a risk of fire or electric shock.
14. Bread may burn. Therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other
combustible materials, such as curtains.
15. Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged in.
16. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
17. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen
areas in shops, offices and others working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels
and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
