10. Operation

a) Basic operations
Turning on and off
• Hold down the POWER/MODE button (4) to switch the camera on or off.
The status indicator (11) stays constant when the camera is
switched on and flashes during a recording.
To protect the battery, the camera switches off automatically after
a period of inactivity. The automatic power-off time can be config-
ured in the camera menu.
Camera modes
The camera mode is indicated by the symbol in the upper-left cor-
ner of the display (12).
• The camera has 2 different camera modes:
Video recording mode
Photo mode
• Press the POWER/MODE button (4) to select the desired camera mode.
