1. Starting at the base of the neck, separate a section of hair about 5 cm, gently
place it between the straightening plates and press the straightener firmly on
the hair.
2. Once the iron is hot, carefully slide it along the insulated section, making sure
the hair is heated and straightened to the ends. The ends will probably need less
heat than hair that grows closer to the scalp.
3. For best results, hold the end of the hair while straightening the section.
4. To remove hair from the straightener, simply release pressure and let the hair
gently slide off the straightening plates.
5. The smoothing process does not require overlapping. Separate each section of
hair and work through it as described above.
6. Let hair cool before combing or combing.
7. Repeat the process until you achieve the desired look.
8. If desired, turn the iron in or out at the ends of the hair for a more voluminous
result.
Tips:
• You will achieve professional results if you work from the scalp to the ends.
• For fine hair, leave the iron on for 5-8 seconds, and 10-15 seconds for thick hair.
