Tip: Turnoff all devices ( cameras andPhottixHector
7HD) when connecting and disconnecting them.
Charging the battery

1 . Align the battery with the Battery Port area on the
Battery Charger.
2. Plug the charger into Mains power.
3. The Status LED on the Charger will turn red when the
battery is charging.
4. The Status LED on the Charger will turn green when
charging is complete.
Inserting the Battery
1 . Align a charged battery with the Battery Port area on
the back of the Hector
2. Push the battery down, locking it in place.
Removing the Battery
1 . Push the Battery Release Switch to the left.
2. While holding the switch in place, slide the battery
toward the top the Hector 7HD.

Charging the battery

The Hector 7HD battery can be charged while on the
unit if it is connected to AC power.
1. Attach the battery (below)
2. Connect the Hector 7HD's AC Power Adapter and plug
into mains power.
3. Turn the Battery Power Switch to the ON position.
4. The Battery Charging LED Will light red, showing the
battery is charging.
5. The Battery Charging LED will light green when it is
finished charging.
Using the Battery Power Switch
The Battery/Power Switch on the back Ofthe Hector 7HD
powers off all functions
when a battery is being used. If this switch is left on with
a battery in place and the LCD in Sleep Mode the Hector
7HD will continue to use battery power. If not using the
Hector for an extended period of time move the Power
Switch Battery Power Switch to the Off position.
1. After attaching the battery, move the Power Switch to
the On position.
