8200 vector 15 ... 90 kW suitable for operation on IT systems
Description
With the special version "IT system" it is possible to operate the 8200 vector frequency inverter on
insulated supply systems. The frequency inverters are also insulated. This prevents a reaction of the
insulation monitoring even if several frequency inverters are installed.
The electric strength of the frequency inverters has been increased to prevent damages on the
inverter even in case of an insulation error or an earth fault in the supply system. The operational
reliability of the system is still guaranteed.

Mains connection

Operate the devices only with the assigned mains chokes.
An operation with Lenze mains filters or Lenze RFI filters is not allowed because
they contain components connected to PE. The safety concept of the IT system
would thus be annulled. The components would be destroyed in case of earth fault.

Installation of the CE typical drive system
The installation of drives on IT systems is the same as on systems with earthed star point.
However, according to the relevant EMC product standard EN61800-3 there are no limit values for
noise emission in the high-frequency range.
