Installation
1. Before starting the work, make sure to switch off the mains supply.
2. Ensure that there is a minimum of 100mm of free space around the
location where the luminaire will be installed.
3. Unclip the trim, remove the securing screw, and rotate the diffuser
to take it off.
4. Press the hinge clip to release the LED plate.
5. Drill holes for cable entry and mounting in the base of the fitting.
6. Thread the supply cables through the cable entry hole.
7. For BESA box mounting: Attach the base of the fitting to the BESA
box using two screws. For ceiling/wall installation: Before drilling the
fixing holes, ensure to check for buried cables, pipes, and other
building services.
8. Write the installation date on the battery and connect.
9. Connect the Live, Neutral, and Earth supply cables to the fitting.
Switched Maintained: Unswitched supply to PL, switched live to SL.
Unswitched Maintained: Unswitched supply to PL, loop to SL.
Non-maintained: Unswitched supply to PL, SL unconnected.
10. The Lout terminal can switch up to a maximum of 400W, including
the wattage of this fitting. Lout connections can be wired in parallel
if needed but the total load should remain below 400W.
11. Adjust the switch on the driver to select the desired colour
temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 6000K) and wattage (10W, 15W,
or 20W). WARNING: DO NOT change the colour temperature
and wattage when the fitting is turned on!
12. Set sensor settings as shown in the table. The daylight sensor will
prevent the light from turning on until the ambient light is below the
set lux level.
13. Reattach the LED plate, align the markings on the diffuser and
rotate into place. Secure it with the silicon pad and the screw, and
reattach the trim to the base.
14. Turn on the supply, the green LED will come on indicating the
correct battery charge status. When supply to the switched live
PL is lost, the battery will operate fitting in emergency mode.
Walk testing can then be carried out to determine detection area with
slow walking pace. When the sensor detects movement, the load will be
switched on for the preset time. For the walk test set detection range to
100, 75, 50, 25 or 10%, set delay time to 5s and disable daylight sensor.
When finished, set controls to desired levels. Factory default setting:
Detection area 100%, Hold time 30min, Daylight harvest disable.

The emergency lighting must be inspected and tested regularly in
accordance with local codes of practice. Note: for safety reasons,
tests should be carried out during daylight hours.
The minimum recommended test schedule is as follows:
After installation, allow 24 hours to ensure full battery charge and
then interrupt the supply; the maximum duration time is 3 hours.
Check that LEDs are still lighting.
1. Daily check that the charge indicator LED is working.
2. Monthly, interrupt mains for a short period and check LED
lights.
3. Annual 12-month check, full duration test. Interrupt mains
supply, LEDs will light and should last for a minimum of 3
hours of operation: batteries must be replaced when they
can no longer support 3-hour operation.
4. Complete the record sheet on installation and retain it in
maintenance file.
5. Update the file with ongoing test records for inspection
by fire officers or other duly authorised people.

Installatie
1. Voordat u met de werkzaamheden begint, moet u de netvoeding
uitschakelen.
2. Zorg dat u minstens 100 mm vrije ruimte hebt rond de plaats waar de
armatuur wordt geïnstalleerd.
3. Maak de rand los, verwijder de borgschroef en draai de diffuser om
deze te verwijderen.
4. Druk op de scharnierklem om de ledplaat los te maken.
5. Boor de gaten voor de kabeldoorvoer en monteer deze in de basis
van de armatuur.
6. Steek de voedingskabels door de opening van het kabelgat.
7. Voor BESA-doosbevestiging: Bevestig de basis van de armatuur op
de BESA-doos met twee schroeven. Voor plafond-/muurmontage:
Zorg dat u voordat u de bevestigingsgaten boort, de plaats
controleert op verborgen kabels, leidingen en andere voorzieningen
van het gebouw.
8. Schrijf de installatiedatum op het etiket van de batterij en maak de
verbinding.
9. Sluit de stroomkabels Stroom, Neutraal en Aarding aan op de armatuur.
Geschakeld zelfstandig: Niet-geschakelde voeding naar
PL, geschakelde stroom naar SL. Niet-geschakeld zelfstandig:
Niet-geschakelde voeding naar PL, geschakelde lus naar SL.

10. De klem Lout kan opgeschakeld worden tot maximaal 400 W,
inclusief de de wattage van deze armatuur. De verbindingen Lout
kunnen parallel worden bedraad, indien nodig, maar de totale
belasting mag niet hoger dan 400 W zijn.
11. Stel de schakelaar op de driver in op de gewenste kleurtemperatuur
(3000 K, 4000 K of 6000 K) en wattage (10 W, 15 W, of 20 W).

12. Stel de sensorinstellingen in zoals aangegeven in de tabel. De

de rand weer op de basis.
14. Schakel de voeding in, de groene led moet nu branden om aan te
geven dat de laadstatus van de batterij correct is. Als de voeding
naar de permanente stroomdraad PL wordt onderbroken, wordt de
armatuur in noodmodus gevoed door de batterij.
De wandeltest kan hierna worden uitgevoerd om het detectiebereik te
bepalen door langzaam te lopen. Wanneer de sensor beweging detecteert,
wordt de belasting ingeschakeld gedurende de vooraf ingestelde tijd.
Stel voor de wandeltest het detectiebereik in op 100, 75, 50, 25 of 10%

1. Controleer dagelijks of de led van de laadindicator werkt.
2. Onderbreek maandelijks de netvoeding gedurende korte tijd en
controleer de ledlampjes.
3. Jaarlijkse controle, volledige duurtest. Onderbreek de
netvoeding, de leds gaan branden en moeten minimaal 3 uur
werken: de batterijen moeten worden vervangen wanneer ze
niet meer de volle 3 uur kunnen werken.
4. Vul het formulier in bij installatie en bewaar in de
onderhoudsmap.
5. Werk het formulier bij volgende tests bij voor inspectie
door de brandweer of een ander bevoegd persoon.
