TROUBLESHOOTING

Check the following before contacting technical support:
Problem
The unit does not work,
the display is blank.
The device does not
humidify.
The humidifier works, but
increases the relative
humidity insufficiently.
White dust is appearing
on the furniture
Damp patches are
appearing on the
wall/ceiling/windows/other
surfaces.
The mist smells
Mist output is reduced
Cause
The power is not connected or the humidifier is
in night/sleep mode.
The water container is empty.
The water container has not been replaced
correctly.
The temperature in the room where the
humidifier is operating is too low.
The space is too large.
The room heating is too high and is drying the air
too much.
There is too much ventilation.
The water filter is blocked and the reduced flow
is affecting performance.
The water filter is blocked with limescale from
the hard water.
Mist is hitting the walls.
Humidification output is too high.
The water in the tank is not clean
There is scale on the ultrasonic plate
The water is dirty from being in the tank too long
Insert the plug into the wall outlet and press the
power button.
Add water to the container.
Place the water container in the correct position.
The machine does not humidify below 5°C.
We recommend using more than one humidifier
in the space.
Turning the heating down will help the relative
humidity to increase.
In winter the outside air can at times be very dry
and this means that the humidifier has more
work to do.
Clean or replace the water filter.
Replace the calcium water filter and follow the
advice on the cleaning page of this manual.
Move the humidifier so that the mist does not hit
the effected surfaces.
Turn down the two stage humidification output.
Remove the water tank, pour the water away
and clean the tank.
Clean the ultrasonic plate.
Remove the water tank, pour the water away
and clean the tank.
