Electrical installation in the laboratory
The casting machine should be connected into a 230 V socket which should be fitted with a 16 A circuit
breaker or a 16 A slow-blow fuse.
All electrical work on the socket or electricity supply and fuses should only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.

SETTING UP AND OPERATING THE MACHINE
Inserting the mould ring and the crucible
After it has been correctly installed, the machine can be set up for casting.
Before each casting procedure the mould container matching by size with the mould ring and the
crucible should be inserted in place.
