3. Operation
Add a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 liters of water to the pot. Place the food you want to cook
in the basket. You can easily select one of the following power levels using the large control knob, so
that the appliance works efficiently:

• Touching hot surfaces may lead to burns!
This appliance must be descaled regularly.

• Do not touch the lid or obstruct the steam outlet.
Make sure that the voltage used corresponds to the voltage indicated on the technical label on

the bottom of the steamer.
Clean the steamer after use.
•
• Avoid touching the metal parts of the steamer, as they become hot during use.
Always place the steamer on a clean, level, heat-resistant surface that can support the weight of
•
the device, whether it is empty or full of water and food.
Always switch off and disconnect the steamer from the power supply before cleaning or when
•
not in use.
Do not immerse the cooker in liquid for cleaning.
•
• ALWAYS disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow the water to COOL
COMPLETELY before attempting to clean or descale the cooker.
• To avoid fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse the cord or plug in water or any
other liquid.
• Do not place or operate the appliance on or near hot surfaces, such as gas flames, electrical
items or in a heated area.
• Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or bench.
• Do not let the interior dry out, turn it off when not in use.
• This appliance must not be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. Do not allow children to play with the
appliance.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified technical personnel.
