Description
The magnetic contact MK46-AD (VdS class B) is a specific
contact for 2-wire connection to the IADS bus (ATS1290N
interface). It can be installed in a recess or surface mount
position, and cannot be connected to a conventional intrusion
zone. The MK46-AD has the pre-programmed address 0. The
address (0 to 31) can be changed with the optional hand
programming device IADS-PROG. The brown wire of the

MK46-AD must be connected to the "+" PID-connector, and the
black wire to the "−" PID-connector of the ATS1290N.
Caution: If a shielded cable is used for the IADS bus, the
shield must not be connected to either earth, PID− or PID+.
If connected, it would result in additional capacity and it will
reduce the distance of the IADS bus.
Any unused wires of the IADS cable are to be connected one-
sided to the ATS1290N modules earth contact.
