SAFETY INSTRUCTION

DEDON disclaims any responsibility for the misuse or improper installation of products sold
or distributed by DEDON or any of its subsidiaries. The user accepts responsibility for any
injury he/she may suffer as a result of use, misuse, mishandling or improper installation of the
product and releases DEDON from all liability. DEDON is not liable for any damage caused by
the use of this product. Do not transport SWINGREST by the rope guide eyelets on the side.
Usage
Do not leave children unattended when using SWINGREST. It is not a swinging or playing de-
vice. Do not jump into or onto the furniture. SWINGREST is designed for a load of up to 350 kg
(771 lbs). This maximum load includes people, cushions and decorative pillows.
Mounting
SWINGREST should be mounted by professional personnel only. Mounting by minors is not
permitted. If the product is damaged or individual parts are missing or damaged, usage is
not permitted. Please use only the accessories confirmed by the manufacturer and corre-
sponding spare parts.
SWINGREST Hanging Lounger: Please ensure that the fastening material is strong enough.
Make sure that the ceiling or beam to which you are installing SWINGREST has a load ca-
pacity of at least 1.000 kg (2.200 lbs). When checking the load-bearing capacity, take into
account the shear forces that can occur during swinging. SWINGREST must be suspended
from two attachment points. Depending on the situation, the distance between the attach-
ment points should be 130—140 cm (51¼
The distance between the bottom of SWINGREST and the floor should be at least 30 cm
/ 12". For a couch/seat height loaded with nominal load higher than 60 cm / 23½" above
the installation site, the product must not be used on/over hard floors (e.g., tiles, concrete,
paving, etc.).
Ground mounting
• Because of the many different ways to provide a secure attachment point for your
SWINGREST, DEDON cannot provide detailed step-by-step instructions for all possibil-
ities.
• It is strongly recommended that a professional service provider or structural engineer be
commissioned with the installation of your secure attachment point.
• The optionally available floor connection is designed for a clear height of 30 cm / 12".
SWINGREST Standing Lounger: The mounting site of SWINGREST must be stable, firm and
level (e.g., firmly grown, paved or tiled floor).
Please maintain a safety distance of at least 1.0 m (39¼") measured in all directions from
SWINGREST. Non-observance or incorrect mounting can lead to injuries as well as damage
