Cleaning and Maintenance

Wipe off dirt on the meter only with a damp cloth. All water-based cleaning
media are acceptable.
Maintenance should be carried out by Elster-Instromet (or by an authorized
workshop).
Only original Elster-Instromet spare parts may be used.

Decommissioning

Slowly depressurize the meter. Preferable to use a bypass as in Fig. 3
Only remove the meter when it is fully depressurized.

Transport

For meters with an oil pump drain the oil.
Protect the meter against transport damage.

Recycling

Elster-Instromet has reduced the packaging's of its measuring instruments to
the bare essentials. Packaging materials are always selected consistently with a
view to recycling. The used cardboard items are made of recycled from the
paper industry. The wooden crates and the Instapak
can be reused.
