How to use this product:
• The Koala baby hammock is suitable for use at home.
• It can take a weight of up to 15 kg, and is suitable for a child aged between 0 and
9 months.
• Koala is suitable for use by 1 child. Never lay more than one child at a � me in the
baby hammock!
• Not suitable for children who can sit, kneel or pull themselves up independently!
• Koala is not a replacement for a cradle or bed. When your child needs to sleep, it
should be laid in a suitable cradle or bed.
• Koala must not be used for playing or as a piece of sport equipment.
• Koala is intended exclusively for domes� c and private use.
• Please take note that Koala is NOT suitable for use in the open air.
• Koala should only be set up by an adult and in accordance with the assembly
instruc� ons.
• Please take care to follow the safety instruc� ons below exactly!
Instruc� ons for use:
Hammock preferred
Once a child is born it ini� ally feels deprived of the protec� ve mechanism and the
feeling of security from the womb. However, in the hammock the baby feels almost
as secure as in the womb. The embryonal posi� on (we recommend the Sunny blanket
as a heat-providing underlay) and the consistent rocking experience allow the child to
quickly quiet down. In order to op� mally take advantage of this posi� ve eff ect, please
do not u� lise any s� ff /hard underlays in the hammock.
Looking out desired?
If the baby would like to look out from the hammock, then simply adjust the hammock's
cords so that the baby's head lies higher than its legs. Simply shorten the cords on the
side in which the baby's head is laid. (If shortening is not possible, lengthen the cords
on the opposite side.)
Follow-up use
Once the children have outgrown the hammock, it can also be further used as a crib
for children's teddy bears and dolls.
Assembly
The knurled thumbscrews with self-locking nut make assembly – without tools and any
energy involved – as easy as child's play! A special advantage is that the screws are
provided with a child lock and consequently cannot be swallowed!
Washing instruc� ons
The hammock fabric can be washed. Please remove all wooden and metal parts as
shown in the illustra� ons. It is important that a� er washing, all knots and wooden and
metal parts are a� ached as in their original condi� on. Use a bowline knot for point 7
of the instruc� ons.
