Trouble shooting
Brush is stuck
Your robot has an error indicating that its main brush or its side brush is stuck. Please remove
anything that may be blocking it from spinning.

If the issue persists follow the steps below:

The main brush is stuck.

The side brush is stuck.
The Main Brush is stuck
1. Remove the brush from the Neato
2. Start a cleaning run with the brush removed. If the error message returns, please
customer
support.
3. If the error does not return, please
the brush. Then place it back into the Neato and try to turn the brush manually. It should spin
freely.
4. If the brush does not spin freely, you may require a replacement brush. Accessories can be
purchased on the Neato website.
The Side Brush is stuck
1. Remove the side brush and check to see if the magnet is still in place.
2. Reinsert the side brush and spin it with your hand. it should spin freely.
3. Start a cleaning run to see if the metal peg where the side brush sits is spinning.
4. If the error message reappears, perform a soft reset, then try again.
How to clean the main brush
1. Flip the robot over and remove the small side brush.
2. Locate the two clips at the back of the brush guard, next to the wheels.
3. Put your fingers underneath the clips and pull the brush guard away from the robot.
4. You can now easily remove the brush from the brush cavity.
5. Use the cleaning tool to remove any hair or built-up debris from the brush.
6. Ensure everything is clean and reinsert the brush into the cavity, aligning the end caps
into place.
7. Reattach the brush guard and snap the clips at the back.
