TAKING CARE OF YOUR WATCH
EXTERNAL EFFECTS: Protect the watch from shock, intense sunlight or
other sources of strong light.
CHEMICALS: Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cos-
metics and other products which may damage the strap, the case or the seal
of the watch. Particularly with fashion jewellery made of coated metals, these
substances and/or strong perspiration can lead to discolouration of the pro-
duct. (Please note that this is not covered under the guarantee.)
LEATHER STRAPS Leather is a porous, natural material and is sensitive to
oil, perspiration, cosmetics and other substances which can damage the ma-
terial. To protect your leather wristband as much as possible, avoid contact
with cosmetics, moisture and UV light; this will help to avoid discolouration
or damage.
SILICONE STRAPS: Please clean the strap regularly using warm water and
soap; this will help to avoid discolouration over time.
SWIMMING IN VARYING KINDS OF WATER: Always rinse the watch with
fresh, household water after swimming in salty or chlorinated water.
REGULAR INSPECTION: In order to ensure the proper operation of the
watch for many years, we recommend that the watch be checked professio-
nally every two to three years.
