Specialties - Rohloff Speedhub

This instruction applies to the model Ludwig XIV:
1. At first remove the shift box of the Rohloff Speed-hub (please also see
EN
Rohloff Manual and fig. 20). Therefore loosen bolt as shown on fig. 19.
2. For rear wheel disassembling use the Pitlock tool which is delivered
with your Ludwig XIV (fig. 18).
3. For assembling tighten the Pitlock-Nut with tightening torque as stated
in the chart.
Be aware not to pull the rear brake lever when the rear

wheel is not assembled!

Brake system Formula R1

This instruction applies to the model Ludwig XIV and Jacob:
1. Ludwig XIV and Jacob are equipped with a hydraulic disc brake. Main-
tenance of the brake system should always be performed by a trusted
dealer.
2. The used DOT 4 brake fluid is hygroscopic and has to be changed in
regular intervals. Please consult the manual of your brake system for
further information.
3. To prevent malfunction, regularly check the leakproofness of your brake
as well as a sufficient thickness of your brake pads and brake discs
before going on a ride.
Be aware never to pull a brake lever when the front/rear
!
wheel is not assembled!

Brake system - Trickstuff CLEG 4

This instruction applies to the model Wilhelm:
Wilhelm is equipped with a hydraulic disc brake. Please study the included
manual carefully. Maintenance of the brake system should always be
performed by a trusted dealer.
1. The used DOT 5.1 brake fluid is hygroscopic and has to be changed in
regular intervals. Please consult the manual of your brake system for
further information.
2. To prevent malfunction, regularly check the leakproofness of your brake

Lighting system – Supernova
This instruction applies to the models Friedrich and Frieda:
Friedrich is equipped with a lighting system consisting of a
hub dynamo, a LED front light and a LED rear light.
1. To get the front wheel out of the fork, the connector needs to be
unplugged (fig.22).
2. Do not pull the cable, grab the plug itself instead. Please mind a proper
connection of the plug to prevent disfunction.
