Application
Do not twist or severely bend the wires, as this may
damage the internal cables. If the wires show signs of
damage, do not use the diagnostic multimeter. Damaged
cables pose a risk of electric shock. Keep wires away
from heat sources, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts.
Damaged wires must be replaced by the manufacturer,
their technicians, or qualified personnel to prevent
hazardous situations or injury.
When performing measurements, use only the measure-
ment category (CAT), voltage, and current ratings speci-
fied for this product, including the appropriate probes,
test leads, and adapters.
Never leave the device unattended while it is operating.
Always turn off the device at the main switch and remove
the power battery when the device is not being used for
its intended purpose.
When measuring current, first disconnect the power from
the circuit, then connect the product to the circuit. The
product should be connected in series with the circuit.
Before measuring resistance, continuity, capacitance, or
diodes, disconnect the power and discharge all high-volt-
age capacitors.
Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself.
Before powering on the device, check that the battery
voltage and model specifications match the values on
the nameplate. Mismatched values can pose serious
hazards and damage the equipment.
It is essential to protect the equipment from rainwater,
moisture, mechanical damage, overload, and rough
handling.
Before use, check the device interfaces and test probes
for any damage. Do not operate the device if any
damage is found.
Use the equipment only in compliance with all safety
instructions, technical documents, and vehicle manufac-
turer specifications.
