DAB/FM AERIAL
Before using your radio for DAB or FM reception, pull out the telescopic antenna. You may need
to adjust the position of the telescopic antenna for maxing signal strength.
CONNECTING POWER
This unit is supplied with an AC adaptor.
1. Connect the DC cable to the DC socket at the rear of unit.
2. Plug the provided AC adaptor into a household power socket and switch the power on .
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover
carefully.
2. Install 4 x "C" size batteries (UM-2 or
equivalent) while observing the correct
polarities. There is an engraved diagram
showing battery installation directions inside
the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Only adults should handle the batteries.
Do not allow a child to use this product
unless the battery cover is securely
attached to the battery compartment.
The adaptor cable must be detached from the DC socket of the player for the batteries to power the
unit.
Leaking batteries may damage the battery cabinet and the player as a whole, so they should be
removed from the cabinet when becoming flat or when the player is not to be used with batteries for
some time.

SELECTING MODES
During playing, press "MODE" repeatedly to switch between the modes.
ENERGY SAVING/ ERP2 REGULATION
The unit will turn off automatically after about 15 – 20 minutes in standby mode if there is
no audio signal. This is regulated by an EU-standard and is NOT A MALFUNCTION.
To turn on the unit again press the "
MENU NAVIGATION
Press and hold "MENU/INFO" 2 seconds to enter menu then use "
requested option and confirm with "OK".
Press " " to previous step or "MENU/INFO" to exit menu.
