Disposal of flat batteries/accumulators

You as the ultimate consumer are legally obliged (Regulation on
Spent Batteries) to return all dead batteries and accumulators. Dis-
posal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries / accumulators which contain hazardous substances are
marked by the symbols on the side. These symbols also indicate that
it is prohibited to dispose of these batteries in the household waste.
The symbols for dangerous heavy metals are Cd=cadmium,Hg =mer-
cury Pb =Lead and can be seen under the dustbin symbol.
You can return dead batteries/accumulators free of charge to the
collection points in your community, our branches or anywhere else
where batteries or accumulators are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protecting
the environment!
The built-in accumulator in the Vectron Ultralite UFO after removal must be disposed
of at an appropriate collection point.
Please follow the following instructions for removal of the accumulators:
1 Loosen the upper screw of the UFO control unit
2 Remove the cover and also the printed circuit board directly underneath it.
3 Pull the accumulator plug out of the printed circuit board.
4 Remove the accumulator.
A non functioning UFO and its accumulator should be disposed of according to
regulations.
