FIRST USE AND CHARGING
Important note:
The battery packs must be charged before using them for the first time.
Charging process (world charger)
1. Plug the charger into a socket. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up green. Next, plug both battery packs
into the charger. The battery packs can be charged in any operating mode.
2. The charging process begins automatically. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up red during the charging
process.
3. Once the batteries are fully charged, the charging process is automatically concluded and the LED on the
charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will switch back to green.
4. The charging status can be optionally monitored with the Lenz Heat App* convenient control app.
5. Disconnect both battery packs from the charger.
6. After the charger has been charged and unplugged from the battery packs, they are automatically in the mode
which was configured before the charging process was begun. If the battery pack is not used for any further
operations, it will turn off automatically after 12 hours.
Important note:
■ The percentage indicator in the Lenz Heat App* may show slightly different charging statuses during
charging mode, as battery packs are subject to production tolerances by nature. These minimal
differences will have no impact on the product's heating output or heating duration.
■ Recharge the battery packs after each use. This extends the service life of the batteries and ensures
that the device is always ready for use.
■ The battery consists of lithium ion cells and can be charged in any state. For this reason, the battery
does not need to be fully discharged before charging.
■ The battery pack can be in any operating mode when the charging process is started. (POWER OFF,
STANDBY, IN USE)
■ The full charging capacity of the battery packs can only be conserved if the battery packs are
disconnected from the charger at the end of the charging process.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS
■ Short circuit protection: In the event of a short circuit at the contact or the heating element, the product's
integrated electronics system automatically turns off. The product is ready for use again after removing the
short circuit and brief connection with the charging plug.
■ Protection against overcharging and exhaustive discharge: The product is protected against
overcharging and exhaustive discharge with the integrated electronics system.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
■ When using the cable of the Lenz insole (Lenz Heat Sole), plug it firmly into the battery pack until it firmly locks
into place.
■ Never use the heated insole together with the heated sock as this may cause excessive heat!
■ The optimal heating power is reached when the boots or soles are dry.
lithium pack insole rcB 1200:
• Do not use the highest heat setting for longer than a few minutes; continuous operation may result in
excessive heat!
• Always set battery packs to low or moderate heat levels to maintain comfortable foot warming (heating
should be almost undetectable).
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
lithium pack insole rcB 1200
The battery packs have three operating modes: POWER OFF – STANDBY – IN USE. They are indicated by
the heat setting display on the battery pack. The number of illuminated LEDs corresponds to the selected heat
setting.
POWER-OFF:
• The battery pack is completely turned off and the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) is permanently off.
• They can only be switched on with the control button (Fig. 1.3) of the battery packs.
Note:
The battery packs cannot be switched manually to POWER OFF mode.
If a sole is not connected to the battery packs and the battery packs are in STANDBY mode, the battery
packs will automatically switch to POWER OFF mode after 12 hours!
