contact with heated parts while or after using the device. Only touch the handle, the On/
Off button and the buttons on the control panel.
❐ Always set up the device with clearance of approximately 10 cm on all sides and 30 cm
clearance from the top on a dry, flat, solid and heat-resistant surface to prevent any mate-
rial damage or damage to the device.
1. Unpack the device and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Supplied
and Device Overview" chapter) and possible transport damage. If you should find transport
damage, do not use the device(!), but instead contact the customer service department
immediately (see the "Customer Service" chapter).
2. Peel off any stickers and films from the device.
3. There may still be some production residues on the device. In order to avoid health
hazards, clean the inside of the housing, the rack, the baking tray, the pizza stone and the
rotating spit thoroughly before you first use them (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
4. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant, flat surface a sufficient distance away from
flammable objects. Please make sure that the device is not accessible to children!
5. Unwind the cable and insert the plug into a properly installed and earthed, easily accessible
230 V socket with earthing contacts. Your oven is now ready for operation.
6. You should perform the initial start-up without any food since smells or smoke may
