Stromlose Halteabschnitte
Stromlos geschaltete Halteabschnitte z. B. vor Si-
gnalen erfordern eine zusätzliche Verdrahtung,
damit sie ebenfalls vom Gleisbesetztmelder über-
wacht werden können. In Abbildung 4 ist dies für
das Zweileitersystem dargestellt. Sinngemäß gilt
dies auch für Märklin-Gleise.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass sämtliche weitere Ver-
drahtung gemäß Abbildung 1 oder 2 ebenfalls er-
forderlich ist.
Um stromlos geschaltete Halteabschnitte über-
wachen zu können, müssen Sie den zugehö-
rigen Schaltkontakt mit einem Widerstand von
1,5 kOhm (Viessmann Artikelnummer 6836, 10
Stück) überbrücken. Dadurch kann ein geringer
Überwachungsstrom fließen.

1. Wie lang dürfen die überwachten Gleis-
abschnitte maximal sein?
Für Gleisabschnitte mit analoger Fahrspan-
nung gibt es keine Längenbegrenzung.
Bei Gleisabschnitten mit digitaler Fahrspan-
nung ist die Länge der einzelnen Gleisabschnit-
te auf maximal 6 m begrenzt, sonst besteht die
Gefahr von „Geistermeldungen". Die Länge
hängt dabei vom verwendeten Gleis ab.

6. FAQs

1. What is the maximum length of the control-
led track sections?
Track sections with analogous track power
have no limitation of the length.
Track sections supplied with digital track power
have a limit of about 6 m. The exact maximum
length depends on the used track.
2. Some cars on the track are not reliable de-
tected. How can the detection be improved?
Engines and cars with collectors will be detect-
ed in every case. Usually cars with a conduc-
tive axle are detected too.
In analogous operation with very low voltages
and corresponding low train speeds, the detec-
tion of cars with only one conductive axle can
be difficult. In such case, you should make an-
other axle conductive with resistance varnish.
3. How can I isolate the track section from
each other?
Always isolate the phase or plus-wire. For
three-rail-tracks this is the centre rail. For two-
rail-tracks this is typically the right track in di-
rection of travel and for LGB-tracks the left
track.
