6. Care and maintenance
This chapter describes the handling steps which contribute to the maintenance
of the functionality and to prolonging of the life of the product.
Cleaning t t he h h ousing:
If the housing becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth (soap solution).
Do not use aggressive detergents or solvents.
Cleaning o o ptical c c omponents:
Clean lens and eyepiece with pure alcohol (without additives) and cotton
wool sticks. Do not use methylated spirits, acetone or aggressive
detergents
Changing b b attery/rechargable b b attery:
Instrument is switched off.
Open the battery compartment in the end of the handle.

Insert the batteries as marked.

Close the battery compartment cover.

Cleaning t t he f f lexible t t ube:
Remove the flexible tube from the instrument and clean with pure alcohol
and a soft cloth. Do not use methylated spirits, acetone or aggressive
detergents.
