Safety information

This chapter deals with general rules which must be observed to ensure safe
use of the product.
Avoiding personal injury / damage to property
Do not make measurements with the fiberscope and accessories on or close
to electrically live components.
Do not store the fiberscope and accessories together with solvents, do not
use dessicants.
Product security / warranty claim
Use the fiberscope and accessories only within the parameters laid down in
the technical data.
Use the fiberscope only for the purpose for which it is intended.
Do not kink the flexible tube.
Do not expose handles or wires to temperatures above 60 °C, if these are
not expressly permitted for high temperatures.
Only open the fiberscope if this is expressly described in the documentation
for maintenance or repair work.
Only carry out maintenance and repair work that is described in the
documentation, and adhere to the handling steps laid down. For safety
reasons, use only original spare parts from Testo.
Correct disposal
Dispose of empty batteries at the collecting points set up for this purpose.
Send the product back to Testo at the end of its useful life. We will dispose
of it ecologically.
