BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SERIOUS INJURIES DUE TO INCORRECT INSTALLATION
EXPLANATION:
If the autofeed attachment is not properly attached to the drive
unit, serious injuries and material damage are possible.
MEASURES TO AVOID THIS ISSUE:
Tighten the locking screw correctly with the Allen key.
Only install the magazine screwdriver as described in the chapter
"Installation" and only with the enclosed screws.
SERIOUS INJURIES DUE TO INCORRECT HOLDING
EXPLANATION:
If the magazine screwdriver is not held on the drive unit in accordance
with the regulations, serious injuries/bruises are possible.
MEASURES TO AVOID THIS ISSUE:
Hold the magazine screwdriver only on the drive unit.
SERIOUS INJURIES DUE TO INCORRECT MAINTENANCE/CLEANING
EXPLANATION:
If the magazine screwdriver is maintained or cleaned during
operation, serious injuries/bruises are possible.
MEASURES TO AVOID THIS ISSUE:
Remove the battery before cleaning/maintenance.

OPeratOr's DUtY OF care
2.4.1
saFetY OF the MaGazIne screWDrIver
In particular, the operator must ensure that:
¬ the magazine screwdriver is only used as intended;
¬ the magazine screwdriver is only operated in a perfect, fully functional
condition;
¬ only sufficiently qualified and authorised personnel operate, maintain and
repair the magazine screwdriver.
2.4.2
PrOtectIOn OF PersOnnel
In particular, the operator must ensure that the necessary personal protective
equipment is available and used by personnel.
2.4.3
InstrUctIOn anD traInInG
In particular, the operator must ensure that:
¬ the personnel is instructed at least once a year in all relevant issues of
workplace safety and environmental protection before commencing work
for the first time and also from then on;
¬ the operating instructions are always available in full in a legible condition
at the place of use of the device
¬ the personnel is familiar with the operating instructions and, in particular,
the safety instructions contained therein;
¬ the affixed safety and warning notices are not removed and remain legible.
