Function
Conversion of 6-wire door communication
signals into 2-wire and vice versa. Conversion
supports the combined operation of 6-wire and
2-wire devices and enables old 6-wire devices
that are no longer available to be replaced.
Correct use
− Conversion of 6-wire signals into 2-wire

DANGER!
Electric shock when live parts
are touched!
An electric shock can lead to
death!
•
Isolate all connection cables
before working on the device
and cover any live parts in the
area!
When installing door communication sys-
tems, comply with national safety regulations
for telecommunications systems and other
regulations:
− Power cables and door communication
cables must be laid separately.
− Fit separating webs between power
cables and door communication cables
in shared cable ducts.
− Use standard shielded telecommunica-
tions cables, e.g. J-Y (St) Y 0.6 or 0.8 mm
in diameter.
− The cable length must not exceed 200 m
in total from the outdoor station to the
last indoor station. Longer cable lengths
may interfere with image quality in some
cases.
Note
To avoid interference when oper-
ating video door communication
systems with a carrier frequen-
cy of 13 MHz along with other
equipment such as radios, routers
and WiFi devices:
− Always use shielded door com-
munication cables, connect all
continuity wires in a star shape
at one end and connect to the
PE rail.
− Ensure that the door communi-
cation wires remain twisted up
to the terminals.
− Install ST320 safety transform-
ers manufactured after 09.22
with a 13 MHz filter.
•
Snap the converter onto the DIN rail.
•
Strip the connection cables according
to the wire stripping length.
•
Replace the existing BSV100 or
BSV200 6-wire line power supply with
the RED011Y line power supply.
•
Connect the converter, line power sup-
