Installation of the waterblock

NOTE: The knurled nuts must always be fastened evenly and only so far that the
spring is not completely compressed and approx. 11mm in length.
Push the 4 screws
together with the
washers in the main
board and fix them wit a
nut each. Apply a thin
layer of thermal
compound to the contact
surface of the CPU. The
thermal compound used
must not be electrically
conductive. Remove the
plastic layer on the back
of the waterblock now.
Then place the
waterblock onto the CPU.
To fixate the waterblock
use a washer, than a
spring and again a
washer and after that the
nut for each screw.
Fasten the nut one turn a
and than switch over to
the next nut and so on
until the desired contact
pressure is reached.
