- En cas de fonctionnement prolongé sous une
charge nominale (24 VA pour le modèle SNG
1000/24 et 39VA pour le modèle SNG 1500/24), la
surface du boîtier devient très chaude. Attention !
Risque de brûlure ! Veillez à la bonne aération du
bloc d'alimentation et ne le faites jamais fonc-
tionner s'il est partiellement ou entièrement re-
couvert afin d'éviter tout dommage éventuel.
- Lors du raccordement d'un récepteur, assurez-
vous absolument que celui-ci se trouve bien à
l'arrêt. Dans le cas contraire, des étincelles pour-
raient se produire au niveau des bornes de raccor-
dement lors du branchement au bloc d'alimentati-
on, pouvant ainsi endommager les raccords, les
câbles connectées et/ou leurs bornes.
- Si l'adaptateur enfichable du bloc n'est pas utilisé,
déconnectez-le du réseau.

• Only tools expressly approved for work in „live" condition may
be used to this effect.
• The two-pole connecting plug on the power pack output must
not be changed / modified.
• Bright cables and contacts should not be laid. All these areas
must be covered by appropriate, flame-retardant insulating ma-
terial or other measures to protect them against direct contact.
The electrically conductive parts of the consumers connected
must also be protected against direct contact by appropriate
measures.
• If safe operation can no longer be reasonably assumed, the unit
must be decommissioned and protected against involuntary
operation. Safe operation cannot be reasonably assumed if
- the unit shows visual traces of damage,
- the unit no longer functions and
- after extended storage under unfavourable conditions or
- after severe strain during transit.

A Connection and commissioning of power pack
Connect the plug-in power supply unit to the mains socket outlet
after having checked the correct setting of the output voltage.
Now the switched-mode power supply unit is in operation and
works in „economy mode" = minimum power consumption.
Never turn the adjusting knob for the output voltage
during operation. This might damage any connec-
ted consumers (radio or walkman etc.) and destroy
the power pack by break sparks generated on the
switching contacts.
