Introduction

operating instructions are part of this product. It contains important
information about safety, use and disposal. Please read the operating
instructions carefully before using the product. Only use the product
as described and for its intended purpose. Keep the operating instruc-
tions in a safe place and hand over all information when passing the
device over to others.

Intended use

This scissor jack has been developed as a lifting device for the suita-
ble vehicle. When working under the vehicle, suitable jack stands must
also be used.

General information

When using the jack, the described safety precautions must be obser-
ved to prevent injury and damage. Errors in compliance with the safety
regulations and instructions can lead to personal injury and damage to
property.
Read the complete operating manual and keep it in a safe place so that
the information is always available at all times.
If you pass the device on to another person, also hand over this manual.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or accidents caused
by failure to observe the safety instructions described below.

Safety instructions

The jack may only be used as described in the operating instructions.
Improper use may result in serious injury and damage.
Both the jack and the lifted load must be controlled and monitored
throughout the lifting operation.
Use the machine only for lifting and lowering the load.
Ensure sufficient ground clearance when using the crank/ratchet.
Danger of crushing!
Do not use the jack when persons are in the vehicle or leaning
against it.
Use the jack only on firm and level ground.
Never place wheel chocks or jack stands on or under the jack.
Do not place the jack at an angle. This will damage your vehicle.
Only attach the jack to the lifting points described by the manu-
facturer. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual.
Do not overload the jack.
Permanent load-holding can overload the equipment and cause
personal injury and damage to property.
Do not stay under lifting arms of the jack when it is in use. This will
result in injury.
Slowly release loads to avoid damage.
When working under the vehicle, secure it with suitable jack
stands. Working underneath the vehicle without jack stands is not
permitted!
Never go under the vehicle while it is under the jack.
Do not make any constructional changes to the jack.
Never disassemble the jack. Disassembly may result in subse-
quent malfunctions and defects.
