After using the radio controlled equipment, irrespective of how long it was used, it should be recharged over
night with a charge current of 1/10 of the battery's capacity. A red LED indicates that the battery is low on
charge.
A model aircraft must be landed immediately, a boat steered to the bank and a car driven to a safe place as
soon as the red LED goes on.
Used rechargeable batteries must not be discarded with normal household waste. Drop them off at your local
hobby shop for recycling. If necessary consult with you local authorities on proper recycling procedure.
6. Control sticks
If needed, the transmitter can be converted to right throttle (mode 1) as follows:
First turn over the transmitter, unscrew and carefully remove the back of the transmitter. Then disconnect the
throttle stop spring from the right side, seen from behind, and connect it to the left stick. The picture below
shows the appropriate positions.
These three parts must be removed using tweezers or fine-nosed

pliers to replace them with the lever on the left gimbal control unit.
The spring can be removed with fine-nosed pliers. Then the neutrali-

zing lever can be removed.
The vertical control function, seen from the front, has thus been
changed to non-neutralizing. Then the neutralizing lever on the other
side must be installed and the spring attached to it. The left control
stick, seen from the front is now self neutralizing. Finally close the
Spring
back carefully and screw it back on.
7. Changing the crystal
The channel on which a remote control system transmits is deter-
mined by the crystals. A crystal marked TX followed by the relevant
channel number is used in the transmitter, one marked RX in the
receiver. Both crystals must be marked with the same channel
number, e.g. TX 60 and RX 60. If two transmitters are operating on
the same channel at the same time there will be interference, which
could lead to interference, the loss of both models, property damage
and/or injury to people. It is essential that the transmission channel
of one model is changed to a 'free" channel.
The transmitter and receiver can be operated on different channels
within the same frequency band, thereby allowing several models to be operated at the same time. To do this
the crystals on the front compartment of the transmitter and the back of the receiver are replaced as shown
in the picture.The remote control is outfitted with standard crystals; we recommend using Lexors crystals
from for safe operation.
8. Operating the transmitter
Both sticks have two functions each. Each stick has a horizontal and a vertical plane. One vertical plane has
a non-neutralizing function. When supplied the non-neutralizing throttle function is on the left stick (Mode 2).
Trim adjustment is possible on all four joystick functions. The relevant trim sliders are flush with the transmit-
ter casing alongside the joysticks.
