• Never operate this appliance in the vicinity of a
bathtub, shower, filled hand basin or anything simi-
lar.
• Never immerse the motor unit, the charging cable
or the AC/DC adapter in water or other liquid.
• Protect the motor unit from dampness and dripping
or splashing water.
• Never touch the appliance with wet hands.
• Make sure the charging cable cannot be damaged
by sharp edges or hot points. Do not wrap the
charging cable around the appliance.
• Check the appliance before each use. When it or
the charging cable has been visibly damaged, do
not use the appliance.
• Never make any modifications to the product your-
self.
DANGER! RISK OF INJURY
• Misuse of the appliance may result in injury.
• The blades are very sharp. Be particularly careful not
to cut yourself when emptying the bowl and when
cleaning the blades. When washing by hand, make
sure the water is sufficiently clear for you to see the
blades easily.
• Be mindful of the razor-sharp edges of the blades.
Handle them carefully to avoid injury.
• Do not use the appliance for blending boiling hot
liquids or during the cooking process. The liquids
may steam and expand during blending, which may
lead to contents being ejected from the measuring
cup.

• Switch the appliance off and make sure the safety
lock is on before changing accessories or going
near parts of the appliance that move during use.
Never reach into the rotating blades. Do not touch
any rotating parts with spoons or other utensils.
Keep long hair and loose-fitting clothing away from
the rotating parts.
• The blade continues to rotate for some time after
the device has been switched off. Wait until it has
come to a complete standstill before removing the
hand blender from the food.
• Use only the original accessories included with the
appliance.

To prevent harm or damage from happening to us-
ers or others, make sure to comply with the follow-
ing requirements.
• Never attempt to remove the blending shaft while
the appliance is in use. This can cause the liquid to
splatter.
• Never leave the blender standing in hot food while
not in use. This may cause overheating.
• Do not attempt to blend fruit pits or stones, bones,
ice or other hard materials. These will likely damage
the blender blades.
