Option A: Battery operated
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert 3xAA size new batteries as indicated in the
battery compartment (
to reset the clock. The display will turn on after a few
seconds.
3. Close the battery door.
Only use new alkaline batteries from a reputable brand.
Option B: Adaptor operated
1. Plug the adaptor into the DC jack (
the clock, and press the 'reset' key (

Radio controlled clock operation
This Braun clock is automatically set and controlled by
DCF radio signal for Central European time zone. This
covers most of Central and Western Europe, including
Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark,
Switzerland, Northern Italy, etc. Not suitable for UK or
Ireland.
The clock updates the signal during the night. Therefore,
we recommend starting your clock at night and to avoid
placing it near interfering sources such as TV sets,
Microwaves, computers, and away from metal surfaces.
Once the battery is installed properly, the clock begins
receiving the DCF signal. Once it has received the signal
and processed it accordingly (which takes 3 to maximum
12 minutes), the clock will automatically display the
correct time.
Setting the time
1. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING
switch ( ) to the TIME SETTING position.

Using the alarm and snooze function
