1.8.0 Components of the cloning tool

1. Power inlet and connection port to a Win-
dows (7 and subsequent versions) PC or to
an Android smartphone or tablet.
2. Reading/cloning antenna.
3. Indicator LED (for further information,
please refer to paragraph 2.6.0 on page 8).

1.9.0 Residual risks

When using the device, please pay particular
attention to the following residual risks that
are connected to the device or its use:
• Electrical hazard
Since the cloning tool is equipped with
electrical devices, in case of faults
there might be a risk of electrocution.
The power line must be fitted with the
appropriate control and protection de-
vices (circuit breaker, thermal overload
switch and differential switch).

1.10.0 General instructions for use

To get the device to perform in optimal and
safe conditions:
• The cloning tool must be kept away from
electronic equipment;
• Keep the power cable away from heat, hu-
midity, oil, water and sharp cutting items;
• Do not expose the cloning tool to bad weather;
• Disconnect the cloning tool power cable from
the main outlet before any maintenance or
repair operation or whenever the cloning tool
remains unused for a long time;
• Use only original spare parts.

1.11.0 Temporary storage

If the installation of the cloning tool does not oc-
cur immediately, store the machine in a dry place.

ing during the warranty period.

1.12.0 Connections

Warning!
Do not touch the cloning tool when your
hands and/or feet are wet or humid.

1.12.1 Electrical interference

Keep the 884 Decryptor Mini
potential electromagnetic sources
which might interfere with the ma-
chine's electronic systems (for in-
stance, power supplies and monitors).

1.13.0 Disposal

When disposal becomes necessary, the
884 Decryptor Mini
ered as belonging to the WEEE category
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment). Keyline S.p.A. has always taken
great care to protect the environment
and complies with the legislative decree
on WEEE that has been in force since 13/08/2005.
As a consequence, in accordance with the prescrip-
tions of directive 2002/96/CE, this appliance cannot
be disposed of as household waste (in compliance
with the special symbol shown below).
- Whoever disposes of this cloning tool illegally or
as household waste will be subject to the sanc-
tions foreseen by current national legislation.
- According to the provisions of current national
legislation, this cloning tool cannot be disposed
of as household waste. Therefore, at the end of
its lifecycle, after having carried out the opera-
tions that are necessary for correct disposal,
the cloning tool must be taken to one of the dif-
ferentiated waste collection centres for electri-
cal and electronic waste from domestic
households. Refer to the collection centre in
your own town, which will guarantee the func-
tionality, accessibility and suitably of the differ-
entiated collection systems, so that the final
holder and distributors can take the waste that
they produce in their area to collection centres,
free of charge.
